Being round, the airflow through the induced draft round cooling tower is more evenly distributed. Structural members do not interrupt air intake and therefore they are proven to be thermodynamically the most efficient design in the field. This translated directly into reducing running costs. The tower offers PVC fills and eliminators in a design that will maximize economy and efficiency for your industry. The counter flow design facilitates low pump heads. Therefore the water is distributed inside the tower over the fill area through the self-rotating sprinkler so as to give an even distribution over the complete fill area.

Design of round cooling towers

FRP Cooling Towers are of vertical induced draft counter flow design with uniform water distribution and optimal heat transfer. Cooling towers can be installed independent of wind velocity.

Axial Fan

Specially designed energy efficient fans are induced draft axial type with adjustable pitch. Fan blades' pitch is factory set and is dynamically balanced.

Casing of round cooling towers

The round cooling tower is made of tough fiberglass reinforced plastic and has sufficient structural strength to withstand high wind velocity and vibrations that your location of the cooling tower might have. Gel coat is used for UV rays protection and longer life. The water sump is also made from FRP and is leakproof.

Fill

The fill is made up of rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and has a honeycomb design with a very large contact surface area. The purpose of the fill is to split the water and air into several streams to increase the time of contact and also heat transfer between air and water. The fills are available in the standard size of 24" x 12" x 6" with a thickness of 0.25 mm.

Motors

The motors are totally enclosed (IP-55) flange type, 415 V, 50Hz., induction weatherproof with an extended shaft, and are specially designed for cooling towers.

Drift Eliminator

The FRP eliminator attached to the sprinkler reduces the drift loss of water and is made of rigid PVC material.

Sprinkler inside round cooling towers

Sprinklers are available in Brass/ SS/ Aluminum / PVC and the sprinkler pipe distributes the hot water over the entire space of the fill area. Sprinkler pipes are non-clogging and require low pressure to operate and assures uniform water flow in the round cooling towers
